Kranjska Gora to Planica – Stage 3 of the Jure Robič Cycling Route (D-2)
The ride from Kranjska Gora to Planica is the third stage of the famous Jure Robič Cycling Route (D-2), one of Slovenia’s most scenic long-distance cycling routes. Covering 6.9 kilometres with 141 metres of elevation gain, this stage follows a smooth, traffic-free cycling path through the beautiful Upper Sava Valley before finishing at the world-famous Planica Nordic Centre. Surrounded by the peaks of the Julian Alps, it offers an unforgettable cycling experience suitable for riders of all skill levels.
Ride Through the Upper Sava Valley
Leaving Kranjska Gora, the route immediately joins the former railway corridor that has been transformed into one of Slovenia’s finest cycling paths.
